“The academic results of the Class of 2021 reflect the dedication, commitment and determination shown by a wonderful cohort of students. We are immensely proud of every member of the BSB community. The dedicated students, supported and guided by equally committed and talented teachers, demonstrated outstanding determination and self-belief with a willingness to face all challenges during the global pandemic. To achieve such excellent results is highly impressive, and to do it during the uncertainty caused by COVID-19 is staggering. I know that there will be many happy families and proud BSB parents.
Outstanding Results
Opening Doors to the World
The determination of the British School of Bahrain’s students has always been on show during the turbulence caused by the global pandemic. Despite the challenges, students were able to continue their education unaffected. The School is delighted to announce that the students in Year 11 and Year 13 achieved outstanding academic results in both GCSE and A Level examinations.
In the same year as the Tokyo Olympics, the motto of Citius, Altius, Fortius (faster, higher, stronger) could be a fitting description for the BSB students. They have once again been stronger and have achieved higher results than other cohorts. The students aimed for gold and certainly have achieved it.
Mr John Maguire, Executive Headmaster, praised all the students for their achievements:
