The Migrant Workers Protection Society commented, “Thanks to BSB’s collaboration with us, over 200 boxes of essential food items were provided to migrant workers as part of the Ramadan Charity Appeal. We are grateful for their support and generosity, which has helped to alleviate some of the challenges faced by our migrant worker community during this difficult time.”

In addition to the food donation, the school also ran the “Don’t Forget Your Toothbrush Appeal” to support those affected by the earthquake in Syria, in collaboration with a local newspaper’s charity initiative. BSB donated over 1000 essential items to help provide hygiene necessities to those in need.

As part of the school’s commitment to recognising the efforts of all staff members, the BSB Charity Committee also donated Bahrain Pride vouchers for the cleaners at BSB.

Charity and the values associated with it are very important for all students to learn if they are to become global leaders in the future. BSB has a strong reputation within Bahrain for all of our charity work, and the response from the BSB community to our Ramadan Charity Appeal has been overwhelmingly positive. In conjunction with the above charitable efforts, the BSB senior school organised the BSB Charity Cup Tournament on the 7th of April, which is a popular annual student-led football tournament held at the BSB Campus that aims to raise funds for charity during Ramadan. The tournament was open to students from all schools in Bahrain, and the proceeds are being donated to a charitable organisation. This event is one of the many ways that BSB is encouraging the community to come together and support those in need.
